Delicious shrimp in a rich, buttery, and garlicky sauce.
Ingredients
Directions
Boil pasta according to instructions on packaging. Shrimp only takes a few minutes to cook, so start the pasta first. Clean shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.


In a large skillet on medium heat, add 1/4 cup of butter, allowing it to melt. Next add shrimp sauteing for a couple minutes on each side. Add in 1 1/2 tablespoons of minced garlic and 1/4 cup of white wine.



Next add in 1/8 cup of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice from 1 whole lemon, a pinch of red pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika, sautéing for a couple of minutes. Remove shrimp scampi from heat. Drain pasta and toss with shrimp and scampi sauce.
Plate dish with pasta, shrimp, a generous spoonful of scampi sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
